The next major 'event' at The Rake will be the Lambic Festival which starts on Sunday 1st November. This one is Toms baby and he's going all the way to belgium to get the beers next weekend.
Expect the unexpected with regard to some of these. Some of them will probably have never been seen in the UK before and perhaps never will again.
As far as we know this is the first time a beer festival in the UK has been exclusively dedicated to Lambic beers and we're really excited about this one.

Ok, so a bit of an overstatement there but hey, can you blame me?! After the great success of Brewdogs Tokyo* Keg, The Rake will be having a bit of a do this thursday 17th September to launch the limited edition Sierra Nevada Unrivaled. This is SN's new rye beer and my bosses, Mike & Rich, were there to help with the brewing of it.

Hello all,
The Rakes 1st annual Welsh Beer Festvial is fast approaching, there will be beers from Award winning Brewers such as Otley, Breconshire, Celtic Experience, Ffos Y Ffin and Black Mountain. There will also be some welsh ciders for those of you who like the old 'apples' and food supplied by Mootown and Loaf.
Entry is free (as usual, wouldn't want to charge people now would we!).
